Clay meets Fibre part 2

Part two of the Clay meets Fibre workshop

About this workshop

The fibres are soaking, the pots are fired (complete with their little row of holes!), and we’re getting ready for Part Two of Clay Meets Fibre!

Join us at Creekside Pottery Studio on Saturday 31 October, where we’ll bring clay and nature together to create something truly special.

Bring along your own vessel or choose a glazed pot on the day, then weave pine needles and grevillea around it, one coil and one row at a time.

Jess will guide you through traditional basketry techniques, so there’s no experience needed, just come along, get creative and enjoy the process! You’ll head home with your very own handmade masterpiece.

And of course, there’ll be delicious morning tea and refreshments to enjoy along the way.

We can’t wait to create with you!

Small glazed ceramic birds made at Kids Club

Once a month

Kids Club

Once a month, young makers take over the studio for a Saturday morning of clay. There’s a new theme each time, from birds to Halloween creatures, and plenty of room for imagination.

For ages 6 to 14. Children under 8 need a parent or carer to stay with them. No food is provided, and please don’t bring food to the session.

The next Kids Club date will appear here as soon as it’s set. Ask Deb to hear first.
